What are the immune system & metabolic disorders?

Immune system disorders cause unusually low activity or overactive immune system activity. They reduce the ability of the body to combat invaders by making them vulnerable to infections. Various immune system disorders is lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, type 1 diabetes mellitus, Gullain-Barres syndrome, etc.

Metabolic disorders occur when some abnormal chemical reactions occur in your body and disrupt the process of metabolism. There are various groups of disorders here. Some affect the breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, or fats. The most common metabolic disorder is diabetes, as it occurs due to the problem in the metabolism of glucose.

How does Ayurveda Cure the Immune system & metabolic disorder?

Ayurvedic medicines have a therapeutic effect on metabolism by using alternative medicines. They suggest that the immune system kills its own cells accidentally, in order to defend it against harmful metabolites. In Ayurveda, it is believed that the accumulation of the toxins creates an imbalance in the doshas (Kaphas, Pittas, and Vatas) in the body. Ayurveda has recommended the use of Dasamoolarishta for treating cough, fever, sterility, anemia, etc. The other medicine is Kaisoraguggul, which is mostly used to treat leprosy and is also a good blood purifier. It is also known as Kaisora Guggulu Gulika or Kishore Guggul.

Dasamoolarishta: A tonic useful in sterility, Cures fever, dropsy, cough, anaemia, jaundice and prameha, Helps to release urine freely.
Dosage: To be taken with equal quantity of water in 10ml dosage after meals.

Kaisora Guggul: Useful in Diabetes Type-2
Dosage: One tablet twice a day after food.

Mahamehantakarasa (2g): Cures all urinary disorders and burning sensation over the body. Suits all delicate constitutions.
Dosage: 1 g = 4 doses. To be used twice daily with Chandanasava (or) with the juice of Gokshura (root) for urinary troubles.

Ratnapurushalehya: Very useful in seminal weakness and seminal decay. It gives muscular strength and nervous potency.
Dosage: 1.5 teaspoons twice daily after the above medications.

Swarnabhrakasindura (1g): Very useful in chronic phthisis and waste.Gives new life, vigour, and vitality. Makes the muscles plumby and strong.
Dosage: One dose twice daily or as directed by the physician
